This Anger Management Course is for individuals trying to monitor their reactions to emotional triggers and to manage the expression of anger in their live’s.

How is Anger Management Different from Domestic Violence?

The experience of anger found in partners that are intimately involved can be very complicated.  Once physical and emotional abuse is integrated into the patterns, habits, and behaviors of a family, it is dramatically more difficult to stop.  In stark contrast, when an explosive altercation occurs with a co-worker, neighbor or distant acquaintance, addressing the triggers and identifying state or trait issues is more specific and typically does not involve the depth taken in a domestic violence program.

Our Anger Management Course is a 12 week program that meets once a week for 1 hour. Class materials are provided except for one book (optional) which costs $15.

State Trait Anger Expression Scale (STAXI) results are used in collaboration with the client to tailor course goals to those of the participant. Video and audio class topics are available for check out. Fees are $30 per week.
