This course is for individuals trying to manage the expression of anger inside the home
This program is designed for those people that have been arrested/charged for possession of illegal substances, or for those people that have a history of recreational use. The Psycho-Educational program does not qualify for Treatment, which is more in-depth and regulated by the Department of Children and Families.
The Psycho-Educational program investigates the adverse impact of drugs on the human body, cognitive functioning and diminished mental abilities; alarming body of knowledge that specifically details the damage drugs have on individuals, families and the community. It exposes participants to the impacts drug abuse will have on them. The focus is preventative in nature and explores the behavior patterns and habits that increase a person’s risk to substance abuse addiction.
The Program is State Licensed and regulated by The Department of Children and Families. Unlike the Psycho-Educational Program, the Treatment Program is designed for those people that have a history of substance abuse issues. The Treatment Program addresses patterns of drug usage, poly substance abuse, cognitive/behavioral issues, high stress lifestyles, triggers, social support etc., and is tailored to the needs of the individual.
Each participant receives a specialized treatment program designed for their case plan, and is monitored by a licensed family practice practitioner (ARNP). Extensive Psycho-social background, drug testing, treatment goals, class schedules and group assignment are formalized during the enrollment process.
